-Mika and him dated on and off during high school, and she’s the only person he’s ever been in a relationship with. Lowkey? He convinced himself she’s the only person who will ever love him. Fucked up if true.
-His parents are controlling/emotionally abusive but he’s not aware of it. He doesn’t talk about his home life with anyone, so he just kind of… assumes the way his parents treat him is normal. It's not.
-Growing up, he had to cook for himself more often than not, so he’s a surprisingly good cook. Not an expert, but he can follow recipes well and what he makes is edible.
-He’s autistic! He’s very sensitive to lights/sounds, and he hates a lot of textures. He stims by licking/biting his lips, chewing on things, fidgeting with his hands, and rocking back and forth on his heels. His special interests are volleyball and EDM.
-His fashion sense is really good, but he has a hard time finding clothes that are comfortable so he usually wears the same few outfits.
- A lot of his manipulative tendencies/shit morals come from his upbringing. When he was younger, he had to lie/cheat all the time in order to stay out of trouble, and he sees it as a survival skill. He’s convinced that everyone else is just as underhanded but doesn’t admits out loud.
-He’s not ONLY a manipulative person, though! He’s honestly just a huge dork trying to cope with the effects of his childhood. He’s socially awkward and he stammers and stutters and tries his best. Yes, he can be Twisted, but he’s like… also a loser and a nerd.
-He has a very short temper and is very easily pissed off.
-He’s very insecure but also very stubborn and refuses to admit it.
-He works out a lot. Not just because he plays volleyball, but also because he finds it to be a nice outlet for all his emotions and he thinks exercise is genuinely fun. Good for him.
-Post timeskip, Daishou is a college dropout working at a convenience store and living alone. He DJs at clubs on the side, and wants to do music full time when he’s able. He no longer plays volleyball, but he’s still interested in the sport and tunes into games when they’re on/goes to ones in the area. He doesn’t talk to anybody from high school, but he didn’t cut ties either; they just fell out of touch as time passed. -While he is a genuinely silly/energetic guy, Tendou plays it up a lot when he’s around others in order to make them laugh/be less stressed but also as a way of distancing himself from them. When he’s alone or around people he’s comfortable with he’s a lot less QUirKy and ZAnY
-He’s dated quite a few people, but he’s never been in a serious, long-term relationship because he doesn’t like the commitment.
-Ushijima is his best friend! They didn’t meet until his first year at Shiratorizawa, but since they were roommates they got a lot of opportunities to talk and ended up REALLY clicking. They balance each other out.
-His dad left when he was a kid, and his mom works all the time, so he spends a lot of time alone. His mom does genuinely love him, though, and spends all the time with him that she can.
-He’s still super insecure from all the bullying he endured as a child, but he 1.) doesn’t talk about it ever and 2.) has internalized all of it
-He’s autistic, and his special interest is anime. He has a lot of stims, but his favorites are jumping up and down and spinning in circles. He has a lot of trouble controlling his volume, and he hates things touching his face. He has hyper empathy too. Also, he’s one of those autistic people that doesn’t give a FUCK about acting “normal” if he makes allistics uncomfortable by existing then fuck them
-He’s incredibly good at reading people. A lot of people think he’d be bad at it, since he’s autistic, but he’s very sensitive to even slight changes in demeanor due to his hyper empathy and from his bullying. This is why he’s so good at guess blocking.
-He’s also got depression but shhh we don’t talk about that. He’s got a reputation as a Sillaaaayyy guy to uphold, and he uses that reputation to distance himself from others and keep them from getting concerned about him.
-He has horrible posture and couldn’t sit in a chair properly to save his life.

-He gets cold super easily and is almost always wearing a jacket/long sleeves because of that. Also, he just finds long sleeves more comfortable.

-He’s not GOOD at cooking or baking, but he does LIKE it. Usually his attempts at making food are just kinda meh, but he has fun, so he doesn’t care.
-His parents are very emotionally distant. They spoil him by buying him whatever he wants, thinking it's a replacement for a relationship, but they don’t give him any attention or affection and don’t talk to him much, as they're always working out of town. This led to Oikawa being very approval starved.
-He’s surprisingly good with kids, and likes babysitting his nephew.
-He’s also really good at pretending to be a nice person despite actually being pretty shitty. Anything to get that attention luv <3
-On the topic of being shitty, he’s aware that he’s not the best person, but he doesn’t really… care. He’s convinced himself that he’s beyond redemption and is just trying to coexist with his rancid vibes at this point. He learned how to hold himself back from physically hurting other people and decided that was enough.
-Despite everything, he’s a pretty silly guy, and he’s generally pretty laid back and childish when he’s around his friends. It’s when he’s alone or around people he doesn’t like that you have to Worry about him.

-Both Osamu and Atsumu grew up in a small town in the middle of rural japan. Their parents were very loving, but also very busy with running the local grocery store, leaving them with lots of free time and little supervision. They're friends with most kids in town and everyone knows who they are. How could they not? They're the miya twins. They're too noisy to miss.
-For most of his childhood, and even parts of high school, people didn't really like Atsumu. He was popular, sure, and everybody knew who he was, but he didn't have any friends either. Nobody outside of his family cared about him. He wasn't bullied or anything, but it was painfully obvious that most people didn't like having him around, and the best reactions he got from anyone that wasn't a total stranger was indifference. It was kind of his fault, really, since his personality was insufferable and he was loud as shit and rude on purpose, but the lack of acceptance he felt growing up really fucked with his head.
-Despite the scoial rejection, Atsumu made no attempt to change his personality. He saw how that was going for Osamu and didn't want to end up like. Instead, he chose to focus on improving at volleyball, aiming to become an amazing player so that his teammates had no choice but to like him. He also just liked volleyball lmao so he didn't mind.
-He's the more hyperactive, snarky twin, but he's sercretly just as nice as Osamu, and tends to be incredibly considerate of the people around him (unless he's yelling at him LMAO) Like, he's a total prick, but he doesn't want to make people uncomfortable unitentionally and he also really wants people to like him.
-He's very overbearing, especially when you first meet him, and he this is a defense mechanism. He tries to scare off people by being as obnoxious and annoying as possible, since he's afraid of people getting close and then leaving.

This lead to him being more well liked than his brother and his peers and teachers praised him for being so mature, and he ended up mistaking ignoring his needs/feelings for maturity.
-Despite being the more well-liked twin, Atsumu is still more popular than him. Osamu doesn't really mind but he can get a bit bitter about it at times.
-He's usually the more laid back of the twins, but when he gets mad he's worse than his brother.
-He's very closeted rip to him. If I weren't cishet I'd simply come out. It's not like his parents aren't accepting either, Atsumu is out, but Osamu doesn't want to change the way his parents (or anyone else for that matter) see him. He cares about appearances too much.
-His dad is the one who taught him how to cook as well as the reason food is so important to him. See, in middle school, Osamu had a really bad depressive episode, and he only left his room to eat. His dad took this as an opportunity to reach out to him with food, teaching him how to cook basic things while also letting him know he cared. This meant a lot to him. Osamu still gets depressed from time to time, but he always makes sure he has time to cook. He sees cooking as a form of self care, and he sees sharing food as a way of being there for the people he cares about. Food is connections and food is caring and food is important.
